ADIDAS PING PONG SUPER-SKATE

Finding inspiration at the ping pong table, Adidas puts an interesting spin on their Superskate Mid. The side panels are done in the same rubber used on ping pong rackets and feature the same alternating red and blue. The shoes also feature a racket print on the tongue and come packaged with a set of novelty mini-rackets. RAD.

PEET PIENAAR KNOWS THE TIME!

Excentric local artist, Peet Pienaar, in City Views newspaper bigging up SHELFLIFE



Peet is most famous for having himself videotaped while undergoing circumcision in 2000. The discarded foreskin, displayed in a small perspex case, was part of an installation with a three-monitor video showing the circumcision operation in excruciating close-up.
