"Buddy Chellan was raised in Cape Town’s neighbourhood, Bridgetown. After spending most of his childhood being involved in sports, it’s no surprise that BMX would follow as his prime passion. His travelled the world to compete, ridden his bike alongside some his favourite BMX riders, and now his juggling his own clothing label, Dufraś. Dufraś was inspired internationally, but has been locally produced. Having started with his denim jeans, Dufraś is growing to be the epitome of a quality and affordable label.
The style of the jeans is a skinny fit, but suits the comfortability of everyone, even those who are active in the extreme sport industry. The distinctive characteristic of 11oz denim, which simply translates to strength and durability, includes 95% of cotton, 5% Lycra and that proudly South African satisfaction."

In the beginning...
1987 is where it all began. Nike saw a hole in their product line and their plans for world domination. A growing army of fitness fanatics were filling their weeks with an ever increasing list of activities, from weight training to raquetball and jogging. They needed an all purpose shoe, equally at home on the aerobics mat, the treadmill or the court. In one of his broadest strokes of inspiration, Tinker Hatfield and his team combined to produce the Air Trainer High and Low.
The design’s flexible forefoot and soft leather upper were teamed with a full length air unit providing ample cushioning for running or pounding out aerobics. The b’ball styled sole with a flared outrigger combined with the forefoot strap to provide the stability needed for court sports and lifting. Football and baseball star Bo Jackson endorsed the shoe for Nike and it was so versatile it was even seen on pro tennis players like John MacEnroe and brash teenage sensation, Andre Agassi.
In short it was HOT!
